Classic homemade guacamole

2 Haas avocados

1 small roma tomato, diced

2 tablespoons minced red onion

2 tablespoons chopped cilantro

1 tablespoon chopped fresh or pickled jalapeno

1 tablespoon fresh lime juice

1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

Dipping: Carrot chips, celery sticks, or tortilla chips


Cut avocados in half, discard the seeds and scoop the flesh into a medium bowl. Smash avocado leaving some chunks.

Stir in the remaining ingredients and serve with choice of dippers.
