It’s lunch box packing time and my Easy Chicken Caesar Wrap is going to be a winner if you have a teen in the house. If we’re being transparent, I love this one too. It’s less than 5 minutes to pull together – perfect for a quick pack in the morning and it holds up well for hours.
Let’s be honest, lunch packing can get mundane and if you have kids who don’t like to have the same lunch everyday, you need ideas. This is just another good standby to add to your recipe box for the lunch box.
I also love easy wraps like this for sports practices and games. While I’m not the queen of lunch packing, I have done my fair share of packing lunches to go. We have a large assortment of lunchboxes and ice packs. Even if a kid forgets to unpack their ice pack from the day before – no worries, there’s always a spare in the freezer.
With something like this, make sure you keep it cold – this is no PB&J. No need to get that call from the nurse’s office too soon into the school year.
Here’s a quick picture of what it looks like before it’s wrapped. Here are your ingredients:
- Deli chicken
- Shredded lettuce
- Parmesan cheese
- Bottled or homemade Caesar dressing
- Favorite wraps, my kids love color, so it’s spinach for us.
If you want my extra special time saver tip, here it is: Salad kits! If you have multiple kids, you can use a salad kit and put some protein in the wrap and you’ll have a different wrap everyday.
Make this Easy Chicken Caesar Wrap for your next packed lunch for school or on the road!
